Karl Lagerfeld Expands Into Luxury Real Estate With Exclusive Residences in Mexico

The legacy of legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is entering a new era of luxury living as the fashion house announces its first residential development in Latin America. Located in Bosque Real, Huixquilucan, near Mexico City, the project represents a significant expansion of the brand’s influence beyond fashion and into high-end residential architecture.

Developed in partnership with Grupo Bosque Real, the 38-story tower will feature 73 exclusive residences, including two penthouses and a Garden House. Expected to be completed in early 2029, the development will incorporate expansive living spaces, private terraces, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The architectural vision draws inspiration from Lagerfeld’s distinctive creative identity, combining contemporary elegance with bold contrasts and carefully selected materials. The interiors, developed in collaboration with The One Atelier, will incorporate elements reflecting the designer’s appreciation for art, architecture, and literature. One of the project’s defining features will be a nearly 32-foot-tall stainless steel library installation in the lobby, paying tribute to Lagerfeld’s celebrated personal collection of books.

Residents will have access to an extensive collection of private amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, fitness facilities, private cinema, business lounge, and recreational spaces. These features position the development within the growing international market for branded luxury residences, where fashion houses extend their identities into residential experiences.

For the Karl Lagerfeld brand, the Mexico development represents another opportunity to translate the designer’s enduring aesthetic into a physical environment. It also reflects the increasing relationship between luxury fashion, architecture, and real estate, as global brands seek to create experiences that extend beyond traditional retail.
